About Tazkia Zainab

Tazkia Zainab is a Kashmir-based public health researcher with an MPH in Public Health and Community Medicine and a clinical background in Unani Medicine. She trained at the Central University of Kerala. She completed an epidemiology internship at the National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences (NIMHANS), working on national mental health data and public health programs. Her interests include psychiatric epidemiology, treatment gaps, ageing, and digital health. She is strongly committed to mental health awareness and reducing stigma, particularly in communities where discussions around psychological wellbeing are still emerging.
